We want you to know that the safety and health of our event organizers and members are always a top priority.
Please adhere to the following if attending any in-person Meetup events hosted by any chapter of Introverted Girlfriends:
- Stay home if you have tested positive for COVID-19, are waiting for COVID-19 test results, have COVID-19 symptoms, or if you have had close contact with a person who has tested positive for or who has symptoms of COVID-19.
- The event organizer for each Meetup event will determine if masks are required or if all attendees must be fully vaccinated. If you have a medical or religious reason for not getting the COVID-19 vaccination, please email brenda@introvertedgirlfriends.com to receive written approval to attend any event where required.
- Update your RSVP if you are no longer able to attend. We will continue to enforce the no-show policy; three no-shows in a six-month period will result in your removal from the group and you will not be allowed to rejoin the group for a three-month period.
- Avoid greeting each other with physical contact (for example, hugs) and try to maintain social distancing (6 feet apart).
- Wash your hands frequently or use hand sanitizer.
- Indoor events, especially in places with poor ventilation, pose more risk than outdoor events. Events that last longer pose more risk than shorter events. Events with more people increase the likelihood of being exposed. Events where people engage in behaviors such as singing, shouting, not maintaining physical distancing, or not wearing masks consistently and correctly, can increase risk.
Lastly, everyone must follow the guidelines set by your local, state and federal authorities.
Disclaimer: An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present. COVID-19 is an extremely contagious virus that can lead to severe illness and death. By attending a Meetup event, you voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19.
